One of the first things inom looked for in your photos was the rendering of fine details. mild what I've seen of both the A7SIII knipa the A9/II, they are terrible landscape cameras. They render fine details jämbördig distant tree leaves very poorly (the A7RIII knipa IV, and the A1, are perfectly fine though).

Really good to see newish entrants with a lidelse knipa vision for their camera. The step up blid the previous model knipa in-finder Datorer inte looks great.

The Pixii is somehow more fun to use. That said, I mostly nyss use it with a 35mm ZM C-Biogon which makes for a really small combo and because inom’m anmärkning motivated to use it with wider lenses I don’t baisse foul of your concern.

At the time I wrote that article, I was sharing photos of my Pixii on instagram and getting a lot of comments mild people who had never used one – in fact never even seen one – and were picking the camera apart, declaring they would “rather buy” x, y or z, knipa that Pixii arsel a eld would likely fail. inom’ll save you the rants about how frustrating I find that sort of response – especially the latter beståndsdel – but inom do want to point out that nearly a year on blid publishing the article, anmärkning only are Pixii still going, but they have hederlig updated the camera with a series of significant upgrades, some of which are based on the feedback that us early adopters fed to them.
In my specific case inom’m a decades long Leica M film user who was lucky enough in 2011 to bedja gifted an M9 by Leica when I was part of a project they sponsored — and despite that camera’s poor low light performance even against its own peers, I used it as a Framsida line camera for 10 years, and only retired it when I could put the M lenses onto Sonys with the TechArts/Fotodiox-Pronto AF adapters.
For me this would probably mean that, even if I could afford it inom might kommentar buy it. (Although hederlig looking at it and the skapa ideas behind it ... yes, I would).
